An External-Capacitor-less Low-Dropout Regulator with Less than -36dB PSRR at All Frequencies from 10kHz to 1GHz Using an Adaptive Supply-Ripple Cancellation Technique to the Body-Gate

ICSL’s paper (authors: Younghyun Lim, Jeonghyun Lee, Suneui Park, and Prof. Jaehyouk Choi) “An External-Capacitor-less Low-Dropout Regulator with Less than -36dB PSRR at All Frequencies from 10kHz to 1GHz Using an Adaptive Supply-Ripple Cancellation Technique to the Body-Gate” has been accepted for presentation at 2017 IEEE CICC (Custom Integrated Circuits Conference) in Austin, Texas in coming May. CICC is the one of the top 3 conferences in the field of integrated circuit (IC) designs. In this paper, an external capacitor-less low-dropout regulator (LDO) that provides high power-supply rejection ratio (PSRR) at all low-to-high frequencies was presented. This LDO was designed for RF transceivers with a high data bandwidth, such as an LTE or an emerging 5G transceiver.
